Brad Guy

Brad Guy has worked in the hazardous area compliance field since 2008. Brad began their career at Comlek as an electrician, co-ordinator, training manager, trainer and assessor, HA inspector, and HA auditor. In 2013, they joined MOXI as an instructor, hazardous area auditor/inspector, and hazardous area head trainer, inspector, auditor, consultant. Brad then worked as a consultant for MOXI HA Services and Self Employed in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In 2017, they joined Bluefield Asset Management Specialists as a senior hazardous area specialist. In 2021, they joined Coex Training (RTO #41119) as a senior hazardous area specialist/trainer assessor and is currently working as a hazardous area compliance engineer at ATEC at EUTEX International. In 2022, they started their own company, Hazardous Area Compliance, where they provide hazardous area classification, hazardous area electrical design, conformity assessment documents, verification dossier compilation, and maintenance management programs.

Brad Guy attended Wollongong Technical College from 1976 to 1981, where they earned a Trade Certificate in Electrical. Prior to this, they attended Dapto High School. Brad also completed a Trade in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology at Wollongong TAFE.
