Tom Ostapchuk has a wealth of experience in product management, marketing, and research. In 2021, they are a Product Manager at EV Connect. From 2019 to 2021, they held the same role at Procurify, where they led cross-functional teams of engineers and designers in an agile SaaS environment throughout the software development cycle to deliver products and features from ideation and design to release. Thomas (Tom) also built and refined Go-To-Market processes adopted to gather customer insights, scaled research efforts, and executed launch campaigns. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Product Marketing Manager at Intuit, where they orchestrated the go-to-market launch for QuickBooks Pro Tax and launched multi-lingual invoices and custom-invoice import features in QuickBooks Online. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Marketing Director at Chalk, where they built a content-driven inbound marketing engine to drive leads and set funnel baseline metrics. From 2014 to 2017, they were also a Marketing Communications Specialist at Intuit. From 2013 to 2014, they were a Marketing and Social Media Strategist at Gildale Farms. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Hydrocap Data Logger and Checker at Fisheries and Oceans Canada. From 2011 to 2012, they held both the roles of Research Coordinator and Program Coordinator at Sustainable Waterloo Region.

Tom Ostapchuk obtained their High School Diploma from Grand River Collegiate Institute. In 2010, they began their Bachelor of Environmental Studies (B.ES) at the University of Waterloo, where they majored in Environment and Business and minored in Economics. Thomas (Tom) completed this degree in 2015. In 2018, they completed a Journalism Essentials course at the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies. In 2019, they obtained a Product Management certification from BrainStation and attended an Adventure Filmmakers Workshop at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Additionally, they obtained an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in February 2018. Tom is currently a Master of Climate Change Candidate at the University of Waterloo, which they began in 2021.
