Samuli Salovaara has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Samuli started their career in 2007 as a Conscript, serving in the Finnish Defence Forces. After completing their military service, they worked as a Salesperson/Assistant Store Manager at Suomen Polkupyörätukku Oy.

Their most recent position was at Evac Group, where they held multiple roles. Samuli started as a Lead Mechanical Engineer in 2017, then transitioned to the role of Project Manager in 2019. During this time, they worked on large system deliveries for the cruise industry, including both new build and retrofit projects. In 2021, they were promoted to the position of Head of Project Management, Retrofit.

Samuli Salovaara began their education at Etelä-Tapiolan lukio, where they completed their matriculation examination in general education from 2004 to 2007. Samuli then attended Aalto University from 2008 to 2014, earning a Master of Science in Technology (M.Sc (tech.)), with a focus on product development, foundry technology, and industrial management.
