Samuli Salovaara has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Samuli started their career in 2007 as a Conscript, serving in the Finnish Defence Forces. After completing their military service, they worked as a Salesperson/Assistant Store Manager at Suomen Polkupyörätukku Oy.

Afterward, they joined Componenta again in 2014 as a Junior Specialist, where they played a role in the transfer of a production line to a new location.

In 2015, Samuli worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Etteplan, Design Center. Their main project involved product development and mechanical design for the new Outotec cPlant.

Their most recent position was at Evac Group, where they held multiple roles. Samuli started as a Lead Mechanical Engineer in 2017, then transitioned to the role of Project Manager in 2019. During this time, they worked on large system deliveries for the cruise industry, including both new build and retrofit projects. In 2021, they were promoted to the position of Head of Project Management, Retrofit.
