James Stewart has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. James is currently working at EvaluAgent as a Lead Software Engineer, with previous experience in the same company as a Full Stack Engineer. James has also worked at BBC as a Full Stack Engineer. Alongside their technology career, James has been involved in various charity initiatives. James founded Get-Well Gamers in 2014, a charity that brings video games and consoles to hospitals to aid in pain management and entertainment for young patients. James also established WrestleKind, a charity focused on bringing joy to disadvantaged groups through professional wrestling. James has entrepreneurial experience as well, having co-founded Gilmartin's Bakery, an artisan bakery and cafe. Additionally, they have worked at Bookinglayer as a Front End Developer on a contract basis, ClassForKids as a Software Developer, CodeYourFuture as an Instructor, and briefly at Oxido Limited as a Software Developer. James has showcased their technical skills in PHP/Symfony, Vue.js, jQuery, SQL, and Google Apps Script.
James Stewart attended Anderson High School from 2000 to 2006. James then went on to enroll at the University of Aberdeen, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Politics and International Relations from 2006 to 2010. After several years, they decided to further their education in the field of software development. In 2017, they joined CodeClan and completed a Professional Development Award (PDA) in Software Development in 2018.
