Aaron Mercer

Aaron Mercer is a seasoned communications professional currently serving as a Senior Writer & Communications Strategist at the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA), a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Mercer was the Senior Director of Communications at Browncroft Community Church from September 2020 to October 2023, where leadership of creative and communications staff was a key responsibility. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Government Relations for the National Religious Broadcasters, Project Director at the National Association of Evangelicals, and Coalitions Director in the United States Senate. Mercer's early career included roles as an intern at Johns Hopkins University and International Justice Mission. Aaron Mercer holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Cedarville University, earned in May 2001.
