Dana Cheriff Comenitz

Dana Cheriff Comenitz is an experienced educator currently serving as a Dual Language 3rd Grade Teacher at Evanston/Skokie School District 65 since August 2023. Previously, Dana worked as a 4th Grade Homeroom Teacher at The Columbus School and as an Elementary Spanish Teacher at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School. Earlier experience includes roles as a Bilingual Associate Teacher at The Berkeley Carroll School, a Spanish Teacher at Atlas Preparatory School, and a Math Tutor with Tufts Literacy Corps. Dana’s educational background includes a Master’s degree in Dual Language/Bilingual Education and General Education Grades 1-6 from Bank Street College of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Tufts University.
