David Lackey

David Lackey serves as the CISO and Founder of CISOnow since June 2023. Additionally, David is involved in various leadership roles, including a position on the President's Advisory Council for the US Christian Chamber of Commerce and membership in the Executive Circle of the Northern Virginia Technology Council, both starting in February 2025. As a member of InfraGard, David contributes to the partnership between the FBI and the private sector. Memberships include the Forbes Technology Council and the Professional Association of CISOs, as well as advisory roles with CapitalCISO, GTM Capital, and Primary Venture Partners, where strategic guidance is provided to early-stage technology and cybersecurity startups. David is also a CISO Governing Body Member at Evanta, a Gartner Company. Education includes participation in executive education programs at Harvard University and Carnegie Mellon University, where a CISO certificate was earned.
