Gerry Tumbali

Gerry Tumbali is an accomplished Chief Information Officer with extensive experience in the transportation sector, currently serving at the Regional Transportation Authority of Northeastern Illinois since March 2000. Gerry has held various leadership roles, including Interim Chief Information Officer and Director of Application Services and IT PMO, overseeing the strategic and operational aspects of technology solutions to support transit systems for the Chicago Transit Authority, Metra, and Pace. With over 15 years of experience in engineering and technology management, Gerry has effectively directed programs involving intelligent transportation systems and has played a pivotal role in shaping technology strategies. Additionally, Gerry is a member of the Chief Information Officer Governing Body at Evanta, facilitating collaboration among C-level executives. Earlier professional experience includes positions at ARCADIS and Clean Air Engineering, focusing on project management and compliance evaluations.
