Sophie Schussek has a comprehensive background in research and scientific roles. Sophie started their career at AFFiRiS AG as a Master Student in 2008. After completing their master's degree, they joined QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, where they worked as a Research Assistant and later as a PhD candidate from 2010 to 2013. Following this, Sophie became a Marie-Curie ER fellow at the University of Gothenburg from 2014 to 2017. Sophie then joined DTU - Technical University of Denmark as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where they worked from 2017 until September 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Competence Manager at Evaxion Biotech A/S, starting in March 2021 and continuing at present.
Sophie Schussek completed their Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Vienna from 2003 to 2009. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology at The University of Queensland from 2010 to 2014.
