Thomas Trolle

Thomas Trolle is a seasoned bioinformatics professional currently serving as Director of Bioinformatics and AI/ML at Evaxion Biotech A/S since February 2016. In this role, Thomas leads the development team of PIONEER, which focuses on creating personalized cancer immunotherapies based on neoantigens. Prior to this position, Thomas held various roles including Project Manager and Bioinformatics Specialist at the Center for Biological Sequence Analysis, Technical University of Denmark, where research on T cell epitope prediction was conducted under the supervision of Morten Nielsen. A visiting research scholar at the La Jolla Institute for Allergy and Immunology, Thomas collaborated with notable researchers to develop automated benchmarking methods for peptide-MHC predictions. Thomas holds a Master of Science and Technology degree in Systems Biology from the Technical University of Denmark and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Copenhagen.
