Farhan Ahmed

Farhan Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Farhan began their career as an intern at Isuzu Motors Saudi Arabia Company Limited in 2005, followed by an internship at Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) later that year. In 2006, they worked as an intern at Siemens and Citroën.

Farhan joined Siemens as a Final Year Student in 2007 and continued working with them after graduation. Farhan held roles in project engineering and lead projects engineering at Siemens Oil & Gas from 2008 to 2014.

In 2016, Farhan worked as a research scientist at the DLR Institute of Networked Energy Systems. Farhan then transitioned to Tesla in 2017, where they served as a Senior Field Support Engineer - Tier 2.

Currently, Farhan is working at EVBox, where they have held various roles since 2018. Farhan started as a Technical Support Engineer - Tier 3 and was later promoted to Senior Technical Support Engineer - Tier 3. Their most recent role is Senior Diagnostics Engineer, which they have held since March 2021.

Farhan Ahmed's education history includes a postgraduate program in Renewable Energy (MSc) at Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg from 2014 to 2016. In 2015, they interned at the University of Cyprus, focusing on PV power forecasting. During the same period, they also completed their master's thesis at the University of Birmingham, specializing in Hydrogen & Fuel Cells and Chemical Engineering. Earlier in their academic journey, Farhan completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET) from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Farhan also obtained several certifications. Farhan acquired a Product Analytics Micro-Certification (PAC)™ from Product School in April 2022. In January 2022, they became a Positive Change Ambassador through Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University. Farhan also obtained certifications in Technology, innovation and management, Technology Evaluation, Theories in Technology Evaluation, Project governance and Project Management Office (PMO), Risk Management from The Open University in 2021. Farhan further acquired expertise in Internet of Things from Stanford Center for Professional Development in August 2020 and became a Certified Network Security Specialist from ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute), UK in May 2020. Farhan's certifications also include Corporate Sales Fundamentals Certified from SMstudy - Global Accreditation Body for Sales and Marketing Certifications in February 2020, Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in February 2018, and Six Sigma Yellow Belt Professional from 6sigmastudy - The global certification body for six sigma certifications in February 2018.
