Chris Matthews

Chris Matthews began their work experience in 2009 as a Data Reconciler at CIT, where they used Hyperion reporting and Excel analysis to identify and fix data discrepancies. Chris then moved on to Towry in 2010, where they worked as an Associate in Investment Operations and later as a Specialist in Business Analysis and Development. At Towry, they developed SharePoint sites, designed data capture forms, and captured requirements for a CRM migration project. In 2014, Chris joined Tilney Group, serving as a Specialist in Business Intelligence and later as the Manager of Business Intelligence Delivery. Chris was responsible for developing and maintaining the Enterprise Data Warehouse, administering Business Objects universes, and conducting report development. Currently, Chris is the Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics at Evelyn Partners, leading a team that engages with different departments to understand business objectives and provide data-driven insights. Chris also manages a backlog of BI and analytics demand and ensures timely and accurate delivery of solutions.

Chris Matthews completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Sussex from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Reading Blue Coat School from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained A Levels in IT, Biology, and English Literature.

In addition to their formal education, Chris Matthews has obtained various certifications. In December 2022, they received the certifications "Hands On Essentials - Data Lake," "Hands On Essentials - Data Sharing," and "Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse" from Snowflake. In August 2017, they became a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance. Furthermore, in October 2011, they acquired the BCS Foundation Certificate in Business Analysis from ISEB Ltd.
