Hugo Smith

Hugo Smith is the Regional Managing Partner for London at Evelyn Partners, overseeing investment practitioners in the region since June 2022. In parallel, Hugo serves as Managing Director at Tilney Smith & Williamson, where financial advice and investment management are provided to a diverse client base. Previously, Hugo was a Partner and Head of Investment Management in London at Smith & Williamson, leading the Asset Allocation Committee and the Investment Process, and contributing as a member of the Financial Services Executive Committee. Hugo began the career in investment banking at WestLB, following a forensic investigation role at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and has military experience as a Platoon Commander in the British Army. Education credentials include a Chartered Fellow designation from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, and an Executive Program in Exponential Technologies from Singularity University, along with a degree in Business Decision Analysis from the University of the West of England.
