Abhirup Pal

Abhirup Pal has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and open source development. Abhirup is currently working as a Software Engineer at Even, where they are involved in building India's best health cover. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at Even between June 2021 and August 2021. Abhirup also participated in the Google Summer of Code program in 2021 as an Open Source Developer. Abhirup has contributed to various open source projects, including The Zulip Open Source Project and OpenMF. Abhirup gained industry experience as a Software Engineer at Milky Way, Inc. from December 2019 to June 2020. Furthermore, they completed internships at Patron Accounting LLP and Goalstar TV, where they worked on website development, PHP, HTML, CSS, and document generation.

Abhirup Pal completed their schooling from Methodist School between 2005 and 2018. Abhirup then pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly WBUT) from 2018 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Abhirup also obtained several certifications. In 2018, they completed a certification in Full Stack Development from Internshala. Abhirup further enhanced their skills by obtaining a Python Developer certification from Udemy in July 2019 and a Certified Internet Webmaster JavaScript Specialist certification from Udemy in August 2019. Lastly, in September 2020, Abhirup gained a certification titled "Getting Started: Create and Manage" from Qwiklabs.
