Usama Irshad, Ph.D

Usama Irshad, Ph.D has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering and education sectors. Usama also gained teaching experience as a Lecturer at the Australian Technical & Management College (ATMC) and as a Teacher Assistant at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals - KFUPM. Usama started their engineering career as an Engineer Intern at Descon Integrated Projects Limited (DIPL) and later at Alpha Solar Renewables (SMC-Pvt) Ltd.

Usama Irshad, Ph.D, has a comprehensive education history in the field of electrical engineering. Usama began their academic journey in 2008 at COMSATS University Islamabad, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Power Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2012, they furthered their education at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. There, they dedicated himself to mastering the subject and obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering in 2017.

Driven by a passion for knowledge and a desire to contribute to the field, Usama continued to pursue higher education and joined Macquarie University in 2017. Over the course of four years, from 2017 to 2021, they engaged in rigorous research and academic study, ultimately earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
