Ilari Mäkimattila

Ilari Mäkimattila has been working in the software engineering industry since 2005. Ilari began their career as an IT Support Engineer at Pihanestorit Oy in 2005. In 2007, they worked as a Software Developer at Kookas Media Oy and in 2008, they were a Software Engineer Intern at TS-Yhtymä Oy. From 2008 to 2013, they were the co-founder and CTO at Neovica Ltd and a Senior Engineer at Transfluent from 2013 to 2011. Ilari then worked as a Software Engineer at Sympa Oy from 2011 to 2017, where they were responsible for building a HR web application with a multithreaded C#/F#/VB.NET backend, as well as a custom .NET SqlAdapter for an internal SQL-like query language. Ilari also managed Windows and Linux servers, MSSQL, Jenkins, Gerrit, etc. In 2018, they were the Software Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at Auterion and in 2020, they became the Lead Software Architect at evenito AG.

Ilari Mäkimattila obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Software Technology from Lahti University of Applied Sciences between 2005 and 2010. Ilari also holds four certifications from Microsoft, including MCSD: App Builder (obtained in September 2016), MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional (obtained in June 2015), MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 (obtained in June 2015), and MCSD: Web Applications (obtained in March 2016).
