Jane Hastings

Jane Hastings is the current CEO of EVENT. Prior to this, they served as a member of the board for the New Zealand Film Commission from August 2015 to July 2018. From September 2012 to March 2016, Hastings was the Chief Executive Officer for NZME., where they successfully merged three businesses - APN News and Media, The Radio Network and GrabOne - into an integrated content first media company. Jane also launched new media start-ups including VOD and Events/Experiential businesses. Hastings was recognised as Media Business of the Year 2015 (CAANZ) and Australasian Newspaper of the Year 2015 (PANPA).

Jane Hastings studied at The University of Auckland, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a double major in marketing and Japanese.
