Event Intelligence provides forward looking event data for the travel industry, helping hotels maximise revenue on compression days and prospect new sales leads. The two main benefits our clients see is with the sales and revenue management teams as outlined below:

Sales Upside:

Prospect events and event organisers - See what kind of events are taking place at your competitors. Approach event organisers in advance. Be ahead of the competition, who are working from retrospective, reader board service data.

Prospect ICW events - Prospect events that are happening in conjunction with (ICW) larger events. Fill your meeting rooms during compression days.

Get on event websites - Contact organisers directly to list your hotel as a recommended hotel for an event. See the reservations coming in.

Revenue Management Upside:

Strategic planning - When doing your yearly or quarterly budgeting, Identify compression dates in advance. See if new conferences are coming to the city or if last year’s are going someplace else. Set the right RGI targets and hit them.

Tactical planning - Know which dates to keep an eye on that are likely to have market compression. Never sell out your rooms at low rates on compression dates again.
