David Kliman

David Kliman is the Owner of The Kliman Group, a communications consulting practice established in 2002, focusing on customer think tanks, advisory boards, focus groups, and marketing communications. In July 2022, Kliman co-founded Event Leaders Exchange (ELX). Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Corporate Administration & Communications at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company - Allianz Group, where responsibilities encompassed corporate communications, meetings, travel, advertising, and philanthropy, managing a staff of 135 and substantial budgets. As Director of Corporate Events & Travel Management within the same company, Kliman successfully centralized meetings and travel operations, achieving significant cost savings. Earlier in the career, Kliman worked as International Sales Manager at The Plaza Hotel in New York City, driving sales and marketing for extensive group bookings. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Languages & Literature from Bard College and certification from the Goethe Institut in German.
