Lara Gallagher, CMP, CEM has extensive experience in event management and production. Lara is currently the VP Meetings & Events at Event Marketing Partners, where they oversee the strategy, creativity, and production of events. Prior to this, Lara was the Sr Director of Events at the same company, focusing on people-based approaches to deliver successful events.
Before joining Event Marketing Partners, Lara worked at the Specialty Coffee Association as the Director of Community Events and as a Sr Event Manager. In these roles, they managed teams and produced various coffee competitions and events on a national and regional level.
Lara has also worked as an Event Producer at Papillon Entertainment Group Inc., Meeting Perspectives Inc., and MLB GROUP, LLC, where they organized and managed music-driven events, conferences, and fashion festivals. Additionally, they have experience as a Freelance Event Producer, working with multiple companies on large-scale events.
Earlier in their career, Lara held positions at Downtown LA Fashion Week, Credible Events in London, UK, Latitude 51 in Reigate, UK, and Communication Arts Plc. Lara'sresponsibilities in these roles included event production, venue selection, budgeting, logistics management, and project coordination.

Lara Gallagher, CMP, CEM has pursued their education and certification in the field of meeting and event management. Lara obtained their Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) certification from the Events Industry Council in December 2006. Lara also holds additional certifications, including the Certified in Exhibition Management (CEM) from the International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) in 2019. Lara has also completed a course on Neuroscience of Exhibitions & Events from Madison Area Technical College in 2021. Additionally, Lara has studied Business & Finance at the University of East London, although specific dates are not provided.
