Thomas Freriks

Thomas Freriks has extensive experience in safety and medical services, currently serving as a volunteer firefighter at Brandweer since May 2022 and as a medical responder at Event Medical Service B.V. since July 2014. With a background in industrial safety as an advisor at Tauw Nederland from November 2018 to October 2024, Thomas has conducted various project-related safety studies focusing on physical safety issues such as ATEX and PGS. Previous roles include a chemical analyst and a master's thesis on X-ray diffraction at TCKI, and an internship in process optimization at Mosa. Tiles. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences (Chemistry) from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and is furthering education in hazardous materials response at the Nederlands Instituut Publieke Veiligheid, while also possessing a degree in radiation hygiene from Radboud University.
