Lokhesh Ujhoodha

Lokhesh Ujhoodha has a diverse range of work experience in the technology and software development field. Lokhesh started their career in 2012 at EAX, where they focused on research, development, and consultancy for business processes and medical systems. Lokhesh also gained experience in server administration and working with Java, PostgreSQL, PHP, and Android.

In 2014, Lokhesh joined Jini Guru as a Senior Software Developer and later transitioned to an Intermediate Software Developer role. During this time, they worked on software development projects and gained expertise in various programming languages and technologies.

From 2015 to 2016, Lokhesh worked on several freelance projects, mainly focusing on web development using platforms such as WordPress and NodeJS. Lokhesh had notable clients such as Mauritius Telecom.

In 2016, Lokhesh joined Mauritius Telecom as a Network Coordinator Intelligence, specializing in big data engineering. Lokhesh played a key role in setting up and administering Hadoop and Elasticsearch clusters, and used tools such as Ambari, Hue, Fluentd, and Scoop. Lokhesh was also involved in data ingestion, data visualization, and indexing using Java Spark and Kibana.

In 2017, Lokhesh took on the role of Director/Freelance Software Developer at Puzzles Ltd, where they provided web development services on WordPress and data analytics solutions using the ELK Stack.

Lokhesh's involvement with JCI (Junior Chamber International) began in 2017, where they served as the Conference Director for the 2019 JCI Africa and the Middle East Conference. Lokhesh managed a team of 8 committee directors and more than 40 sub-committee members, ensuring a successful event with 400 delegates and representatives from 35 countries.

From 2018 to 2019, Lokhesh worked at Event Store as a Software Engineer, contributing to the development and improvement of their software solutions. In 2019, they were promoted to the role of Technical Support Manager, where they implemented and enhanced processes to meet contractual SLA obligations for customer support.

In 2020, Lokhesh became a Director at Event Store (Mauritius) Ltd, taking on a leadership role in the organization.

Additionally, Lokhesh Ujhoodha has acquired additional certifications including a Lean Six Sigma White Belt Certification from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in June 2021, and an Openbravo Advanced Technical certification from Openbravo in October 2012.
