Anton Shokut

Anton Shokut has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Anton most recently worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Eventbrite starting from September 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Staff Software Engineer at Cleo from October 2020 to August 2022. Anton also held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Pear Therapeutics from July 2018 to October 2020.

Before joining Pear Therapeutics, Anton worked at Gracenote as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for implementing Nielsen Grabix + Gracenote ACR and optimizing communication between web API and client app using DB, S3, and ElasticSearch. Anton created a Node.js application as a host and proxy to extend API methods and used caching to improve performance. Anton'sapproach utilized dependency injection and TDD to achieve clean code and high unit test coverage.

Anton's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at EPAM Systems from August 2011 to June 2012, and as an IT Engineer at the Financial Department of Mogilev Region from July 2009 to June 2011. Anton began their career as a Junior Developer at Netologic Inc. in March 2008.
