Carlos Roa

Carlos Roa, CPA has a strong background in tax management and advisory. Carlos currently holds the position of Director of Global Tax at Eventbrite, a role they started in June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at EY for eight years, from December 2013 to May 2021, as a Senior Tax Manager. Before joining EY, Carlos worked at EY Venezuela for six years, from September 2007 to November 2013, where they served as a Tax Manager. Carlos was responsible for overseeing the preparation of various Venezuelan income tax returns and conducting reviews for compliance with national and municipal taxes. Carlos began their career as a Tax Staff at Espiñeira, Pacheco y Asociados (PricewaterhouseCoopers) in August 2004, where they prepared income tax returns and conducted reviews for compliance with various fiscal obligations.

Carlos Roa, CPA received their Baccalaureate in public accountant from UCAB - Universidad Católica Andrés Bello. Carlos attended the university from 2000 to 2005, specializing in the field of Accounting. In April 2017, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant certification from the California Board of Accountancy.
