Ciaran Deasy has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ciaran started their career at KPMG in 2001 as an Audit Senior, where they worked until 2005. Ciaran then joined Bord Gáis Energy and held various positions such as Financial Accountant, Commercial Analyst, and Finance Business Partner until 2014. In 2014, they moved to Brookfield Renewable and served as the Financial Controller (Europe) until 2017, and later became the Chief Financial Officer (Europe) from 2018 to 2019. Currently, they are working at Eventbrite, where they have held the roles of International Controller and Site Lead, Eventbrite Ireland since 2019. In 2021, they took on the role of Senior Director, Accounting at Eventbrite.
Ciaran Deasy completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at University College Cork from 1998 to 2001. Ciaran then pursued further education, earning their FCA qualification from Chartered Accountants Ireland between 2001 and 2005.
