James Reichardt has a diverse and extensive work experience in the technology and live events industry spanning over 20 years. James is currently working at Eventbrite as the Senior Director of Engineering, leading the Creator and Ads organizations. In this role, they are responsible for managing, growing, and connecting with attendees, addressing a broad range of technical needs.
Prior to this, James served as the Senior Director of Engineering at Eventbrite, where they led the operational shift from an Ops oriented centralized model to a DevOps model. James focused on accelerating teams' development velocity and improving scale, reliability, and performance metrics to enhance customer satisfaction.
Before joining Eventbrite, James worked at See Tickets as the CTO of North America. James led the growth efforts from a management and engineering standpoint after Vivendi purchased Flavorus and rebranded it as See Tickets US.
Earlier in their career, James served as the CTO at Flavorus Inc., where they played a key role in managing and developing the Flavorus platform. James also co-founded Groovetickets and Northstar Internet, where they held various technical leadership positions.
Throughout their career, James has focused on driving technical innovation, improving developer velocity, and enhancing customer experience in the live events industry.
James Reichardt earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Cognitive Science from UC San Diego between the years 1993 and 1997.
