Rocío Ruitiña Freije

Rocío Ruitiña Freije has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rocío started their career as a Junior Assistant at Karting Sporting Club of Asturias, where they were involved in selling wheels for regional karting competitions and assisting with competition documentation. After that, they worked as a Cooperation & Remote Services Team member at Universidad de Oviedo's Art Campus Library, where they uploaded research articles to the university's repository and edited reports.

Rocío also gained experience as a freelance worker, providing assistance with translations, copywriting, and graphic design. During this time, they also worked as an AuPair in Newbridge, Ireland, taking care of two children and teaching them Spanish through activities and stories.

Rocío later joined DuPont as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, where they managed job postings, recruitment workflows, and interview scheduling. Rocío then worked at Kids&Us Language School as an English Teacher for a brief period.

Rocío'snext role was at Global Perspectives, a healthcare market research agency, where they served as a Patient Supporter. In this position, they acted as a communication link between patients, clinicians, and project managers, ensuring excellent client service and a smooth experience for participants.

Most recently, Rocío joined Eventbrite, first as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for Europe and later as a Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator. In these roles, they handled recruiting administrative tasks, communicated with candidates, interviewers, and recruiters, scheduled interview events, conducted background and reference screenings, and maintained team documents and trackers. Rocío was also involved in ensuring standard operating procedures and participated in local diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Overall, Rocío has developed strong organizational and communication skills through their work experiences in the fields of talent acquisition, research, teaching, and freelance work.

Rocío Ruitiña Freije obtained a Master's degree in Localization and New Technologies, Software and Multimedia Translation from ISTRAD - Instituto Superior de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción, during the period of 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, Rocío completed their undergraduate education at the Universidad de Oviedo from 2012 to 2018, where they studied English Studies and pursued a minor in Translation, focusing on English Language and Literature. In addition to their formal education, Rocío holds several certifications, including Advanced Talent Sourcing Training from The Talent Hunter, obtained in February 2022, Diversity at Work from Harvard ManageMentor, obtained in June 2019, and a DuPont Talent Acquisition Skills Academy Workshop from Riviera Advisors, Inc., obtained in March 2019.
