Sean Meehan is a seasoned data science professional with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as Manager of Data Science and formerly a Senior Data Scientist at eventellect since September 2021, Sean also held the position of Associate Data Scientist at Sysco for a brief period in early 2021. Prior to entering the corporate sector, Sean spent six years at The Ohio State University, where notable work included solving universality problems and co-authoring research papers in random matrix theory, culminating in a PhD in Mathematics. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Sean significantly impacted the mathematical education of hundreds of students, earning recognition through the Graduate Associate Teaching Award. Educational qualifications include a PhD and an MS in Mathematics from The Ohio State University, as well as a BS in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame.
