Nikhil Deshpande

Nikhil Deshpande is a Senior Audio DSP Engineer at Eventide since July 2021, with prior experience in audio technology roles at Apple, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, David Griesinger Acoustics, and Pauline Oliveros. Deshpande's expertise encompasses machine learning applications in binaural modeling, computational auditory scene analysis, and various audio processing algorithms. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Architectural Sciences with a focus on Architectural Acoustics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, alongside a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Electronic Arts. Deshpande has actively contributed to the development of real-time audio applications, psychoacoustical data analysis, and creative programming for artistic installations.
