Michelle Murcia has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michelle has held leadership positions in various companies, starting with their role as a Communications Marketing intern at Fundación del Quemado in 2015. Michelle later worked at Siemens as a Marketing Intern, where they gained experience in planning and executing promotional activities. In 2017, Michelle became the Director of Marketing Communications at studNet, where they were responsible for implementing marketing strategies and managing social media campaigns.

Continuing their career, Michelle joined Domicilios.com as a Mobile Analyst and later became a Regional Mobile and Display Specialist, focusing on growth strategies and campaigns through digital channels. Michelle then moved to Merqueo, the first online supermarket, where they served as a Digital Marketing & Partnerships Specialist and later became an Acquisition Marketing Manager. In these roles, Michelle led the growth strategy by acquiring new users through various digital and offline channels.

Michelle then worked at Wabi Inc., a consumer goods company, where they held two positions simultaneously. As the Regional Business Manager for the Caribbean, they focused on market penetration and new business at the regional level. Michelle also served as the Business Manager for Colombia, leading operations in Bogota and Medellin, and overseeing commercial teams.

In 2021, Michelle joined Oms y Viñas as the Head of Digital, where they led the digital sales strategy and supported the company's digital transformation. Michelle was responsible for developing a hybrid B2B/B2C e-commerce platform, optimizing product pages, managing logistics, and customer service channels.

Following their role at Oms y Viñas, Michelle became the Head of Marketing at Timeling, a UK company based in Barcelona that aimed to transform the dating world with a calendar-based meetup app. Michelle then joined EventMe as the Head of Growth Marketing, overseeing both brand and performance marketing efforts across offline and online channels.

Currently, Michelle works at Storybeat as the Head of Growth, leading the company's growth initiatives.

Michelle Murcia has a diverse education history. Michelle obtained a Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia from the Universidad de La Sabana, which they completed between 2012 and 2017. Michelle then pursued further studies in marketing and sales management, earning a Master's degree from both EAE Business School and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Michelle completed these degrees concurrently from 2020 to 2021.

In addition to their degrees, Michelle also holds several certifications. Michelle obtained a Tesis Meritoria from Universidad de La Sabana in May 2017. Michelle completed a Curso de Marketing Relacional y Digital from Universidad del Desarrollo in June 2017. Michelle also has a TOEFL iBT certification from The TOEFL® test, which they obtained in February 2019.

Continuing to enhance their skills, Michelle has pursued various online courses and certifications. Michelle completed a Curso básico de marketing digital - online from IAB Spain in February 2016 and a Curso de productividad personal - online from Fundación Santa María la Real del Patrimonio Histórico in April 2016. Michelle also completed a Marketing Management online course from Universidad de Chile in April 2020.
