Kat Keivens has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.
Starting in 2006, Keivens worked as a Center Assistant at National University until 2008. In 2009, they joined Active Network as an Online Account Coordinator, where they managed email lists, implemented display advertising, and led marketing campaigns for clients with budgets up to $500,000. Kat worked closely with cross-functional teams and maintained regular client communication.
From 2011 to 2012, Keivens served as a Marketing Manager at 15minutesNOW.com. Kat then joined USE Credit Union as a Marketing Coordinator from 2012 to 2015. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating marketing activities.
In 2015, Keivens joined Competitor Group, Inc. as a Senior Account Manager. Here, they implemented and delivered digital campaigns across various properties. Kat executed campaigns for Competitor.com, WomensRunning.com, and Triathlete.com.
Starting in 2018, Keivens worked at Teamvibe as a Full Stack Software Engineer for several months before transitioning to Events.com as a Junior Front End Software Engineer. Kat was later promoted to the role of Software Engineer II. In these positions, they contributed to software development projects.
In 2022, Keivens took on the role of Developer Consultant at Binary Pulse, LLC. Additionally, they became the Head Field Hockey Coach at Canyon Hills High School in the same year.
Kat Keivens pursued a Full Stack Development program at UC San Diego Extended Studies from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended San Diego State University from 2005 to 2009 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Business Management. In addition, they obtained several certifications, including being a Hootsuite Certified Professional from Hootsuite Media Inc. in February 2015, completing the Marketing Writing Bootcamp from MarketingProfs in August 2014, becoming Google Adwords certified in February 2015 through Google, and achieving Inbound Marketing certification in September 2014 from HubSpot.
