Brea Govan

Brea Govan holds a Master of Arts in Strategic Communications from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Spanish from Temple University. Currently serving as the Senior Community Engagement Manager at Events DC since June 2021, Brea leads community programming and engagement at various facilities, including St. Elizabeths East Community and the RFK Campus. Previous experience includes roles as an Economic Education and Outreach Specialist at NAACP, focusing on economic initiatives, and as a Workforce Development Specialist at the D.C. Department of Employment Services, improving employment outcomes for underserved communities. Additional internships in marketing, community relations, and human resources further contributed to Brea's diverse skill set.
