Dr. Steven G. Johnson

Dr. Steven G. Johnson is an experienced executive currently serving as Executive Vice President at Events DC since February 2023, also holding the title of Vice President of Internal Affairs and Economic Development. Prior to this role, Dr. Johnson was the Director of Operations at the District of Columbia Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment from August 2015 to February 2023. Additionally, Dr. Johnson was the President of RAM Productions, LLC from 2014 until early 2023, and served as Division Director at United Planning Organization from January 2014 to August 2015. From September 1993 to December 2013, Dr. Johnson worked at Howard University as Assistant Vice President for Protocol and Events. Educational qualifications include a BA in Business and Arts Administration from Howard University, an MBA from Binghamton University School of Management, and a Doctorate in Management with a focus on Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix.
