Malori Rhones

Malori Rhones is a Senior Event Manager at Events DC. Malori has over ten years of experience in event planning and coordination. Prior to their current position, they were the Special Events Coordinator at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. In this role, they were responsible for all logistical preparations for special events, including food and beverage service, decor, lighting, valet parking, sound and music, protocol, seating and guest lists. Malori also managed all financial aspects of special events, including coordinating the bidding elements of event support according to the requirements of the Smithsonian Institution's policies, securing contracts with vendors in accordance with Smithsonian policies, monitoring budgets for events while providing updates and recommendations when necessary, and verifying all event related bills while coordinating payment.
