Solomon Keene

Solomon Keene is a board member at Events DC. Solomon previously worked as a special event coordinator at The National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones and as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley.

Keene has extensive experience in event coordination and management. At The National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones, they negotiated contracts with vendors and sponsors, conducted speaker training briefings, and coordinated with field experts to prepare event topics, schedules, and agendas. Solomon also updated and maintained the organization's event/meeting database.

As a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, Keene developed investment plans for clients, averaging an eight percent annual investment growth ratio. Solomon also guided clients in defining financial and investment goals, created and implemented investment tracking procedures, and periodically monitored and quarterly rebalanced client accounts.

Keene's experience in both event coordination and financial advising makes him a valuable asset to Events DC.

Solomon Keene graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, General from Bethune-Cookman University. Solomon then went on to get their Master of Public Administration from Southeastern University (Washington, D.C.). Solomon Keene also participated in the Minority Political Leadership Institute at Virginia Commonwealth University.
