Genaya Cameron

Genaya is the Senior Director, Event Operations with the Halifax Convention Centre and Scotiabank Centre, overseeing the event planning and operating teams and ensuring they are delivering on their commitment to hosting great events.

Genaya has spent close to 20 years in the hospitality and events industry, holding various sales, management and operations positions. She is currently a member of Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has held several board positions, including President of the MPI Atlantic Canada Chapter in 2012. Genaya received her Certificate in Meeting Management (CMM).
