Ahmed Mokhtar

Ahmed Mokhtar has extensive work experience in the telecommunications and enterprise service assurance software industry. Ahmed is the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and founder of GreySkies Inc., a US-based provider of telecommunications and enterprise service assurance software, a position they have held since 2016. Prior to this, they served as CEO of Eventum IT Solutions starting in 2009.

Before their CEO roles, Ahmed held senior leadership positions at Level 3 Communications from 2007 to 2008, where they were responsible for managing the Access Planning Department and overseeing a leased network infrastructure.

Ahmed also worked at Corvis Corporation from 2000 to 2006, where they held various positions including Principal Network Architect / Director and Senior Director. In these roles, they were responsible for technical customer engagement, competitive analysis, network architecture, and account strategies.

Prior to Corvis Corporation, Ahmed worked at Teledesic Corporation from 1997 to 2000, where they were involved in network design, engineering, and simulation for wireless broadband and low-earth orbiting satellite networks.

Ahmed Mokhtar completed their education in chronological order. From 1985 to 1990, they attended Alexandria University, where they obtained a B.SC. degree in Electrical Engineering. Subsequently, from 1993 to 1994, they pursued further studies at The George Washington University, earning an M.SC. degree in Electrical Engineering. Finally, Ahmed Mokhtar enrolled at the University of Washington from 1993 to 1997, where they completed their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Telecommunications.
