Tim Thompson

Tim Thompson is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in user interface development and software engineering. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Everbridge since May 2021, Tim also held roles as Team Lead and Senior UI Developer at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as Team Lead and Senior UI Developer at xMatters, where responsibilities involved building cloud-based software products and collaborating across design and engineering teams. Tim's earlier career features a significant role as a Senior Software Developer at SAP, where notable achievements included implementing an SVG-based hierarchy tree control. Additionally, Tim worked at Business Objects before its acquisition by SAP and started as a Programmer Analyst at Overwaitea Food Group, where Tim developed a C# GUI coupon application. Tim holds a Bachelor of Computer Science in Software Engineering and a Diploma in Computer Information Systems, both from The University of British Columbia.
