Evelyn Allen

Evelyn Allen is the CEO and Co-Founder of Evercloak, a University of Waterloo spinoff company. Evelyn has over 10 years of experience in developing and managing industry partnerships, with a focus on biotechnology, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, health, cleantech (water and environment), mining and oil & gas sectors. Prior to Evercloak, Evelyn was the Manager of Industry Partnership Development at the Southern Ontario Water Consortium (SOWC), where they were responsible for building and growing the organization. Evelyn has also worked as a Program Manager at the University of Guelph and as an Engineer at Waterloo Biofilter Systems Inc.

Evelyn Allen has a M.Eng. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph and a B.Eng. in Engineering Physics from McMaster University. Evelyn also has a certification from MaRS Discovery District in Business Model Course as well as Customer Development Immersive. Lastly, they are certified from the Professional Engineers of Ontario as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng).
