Jeff is the Chairman of [Evercore Wealth Management](/org/evercore-wealth-management) and [Evercore Trust Company](/org/evercore-trust-company-n-a), N.A. Jeff, Chris Zander and their partners established [Evercore Wealth Management](/org/evercore-wealth-management) in 2008. The firm is now one of the leading independent Registered Investment Advisory firms in the United States (Barron’s 2019).

Jeff was earlier Chairman and CEO of U.S. Trust, where he started his career in 1970 and served as President and Chief Operating Officer before he was appointed CEO in 2001 and Chairman of the Board in March 2002. In 2003, he joined Lehman Brothers as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lehman Brothers Trust Company and remained with the firm through 2007.

Jeff is the author of the book, Rich in America: Secrets to Creating and Preserving Wealth. Prominent in industry activities, he is a former Chairman of the American Bankers Association’s Trust and Investment Management Division. He is also actively involved in a number of community organizations in Florida and New York. He serves on the boards of several charitable organizations and acts as Chairman of the Board of the Hebrew Home at Riverdale in New York.

Jeffrey Maurer

Marc Harris is Director of Research at Evercore ISI and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s research effort working closely with Evercore ISI and firm senior leadership.

Prior to joining Evercore ISI in 2019, Mr. Harris was Director of US and Global Research at [RBC Capital Markets](/org/rbc-capital-markets). During his 14-year tenure at RBC, he also served as Head of Mid-Atlantic Sales and Technology Product Manager. While at RBC, Mr. Harris was recognized by [Institutional Investor](/org/institutional-investor) for building a Top 10 ranked team that included over 20 ranked and runner-up research analysts. Before RBC, Mr. Harris worked for Bear Stearns and JPMorgan Chase in Institutional Equity Sales.

Chris joined [Evercore](/org/evercore) in 2008 as a founding partner at [Evercore Wealth Management](/org/evercore-wealth-management) and the Chief Wealth & Fiduciary Advisor. He was named President of [Evercore Trust Company](/org/evercore-trust-company-n-a) in 2017, President of [Evercore Wealth Management](/org/evercore-wealth-management) in 2019, and CEO in 2020, succeeding Jeff Maurer.

Chris previously headed the U.S. Trust Multi-Family Office, leading teams across the country in providing ultra high net worth clients and their families with investments, wealth planning and fiduciary services.

Mike Meyers is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Convertible Securities.

Before joining Evercore ISI in 2020, Mike was Head of Global Markets Convertibles at [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse), where he ran a global business recognized for both its market share growth and industry leading profitability. His industry experience spans more than 30 years, holding various roles as producer and manager across sales and trading with [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse). Over the course of his career, Mike has directly advised C-suite executives on new issues execution and has helped originate, distribute, and price over 200 lead managed convertible transactions across multiple industries and geographies.

Mike Meyers

Jason Klurfeld is a Senior Managing Director and the firm’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. He joined [Evercore](/org/evercore) in 2011 and is responsible for all legal and compliance matters.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Mr. Klurfeld was an M&A attorney at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Skadden Arps in Washington, D.C., focusing primarily on mergers, acquisitions, financings, strategic investments, and other matters. Prior to that, he served in government as an aide to New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

Mike Paliotta is the current CEO of [Evercore](/org/evercore) ISI. Mike has held various executive positions at [Neuberger Berman](/org/neuberger-berman) from 1990 to 2000, and was a VP at Spears Benzak Salomon Farrell from 1994 to 1994. Mike also served as the Global Head of Prime Services at [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse) from 2010 to 2016, during which they led and executed a strategic review of the Prime Services franchise, reduced the balance sheet footprint by 40%+, and improved capital efficiency by establishing [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse)'s new Dublin branch. Prior to their current role, they were the CEO of Institutional Equities at [Evercore](/org/evercore).

Mike Paliotta's educational career includes earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from NYU Stern School of Business with a focus in finance and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from [Manhattan College](/org/manhattan-college).

Celeste Mellet is the Senior Managing Director & CFO of [Evercore](/org/evercore) in New York. Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Ms. Mellet was an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at [Fannie Mae](/org/fannie-mae) from May 2017 to May 2021. Ms. Mellet also served as the Global Treasurer at [Morgan Stanley](/org/morgan-stanley) from June 1999 to May 2017.

Naveen Nataraj is the current Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of U.S. Advisory at [Evercore](/org/evercore). Naveen has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. 

Naveen started their career as a Financial Analyst at Bear Stearns & Co. from 1997 to 1999. Naveen then moved on to Sandler Capital Management as Vice President from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, they co-founded Saturn Ventures, a venture capital firm, and was there until 2002. 

In 2002, Naveen joined [Evercore](/org/evercore) as a Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division. Naveen was promoted to Senior Managing Director in 2009 and has been in their current role since 2014.

Mr. Rosen was most recently the CEO of Barclays Israel, and before that held the same position at Lehman Brothers.  Over the course of his 25-year career as a trusted advisor to clients in Israel, he has advised clients on many of the largest and most important M&A transactions, including [Orbotech](/org/orbotech)'s sale to KLA, [Orbotech](/org/orbotech)'s acquisitions of Photon Dynamics and Frontline, Given Imaging's sale to Covidien, [Verint](/org/verint)'s acquisition of Witness Systems, SuperDerivatives' sale to ICE Noble Energy's sale of a stake in the Tamar natural gas field and a number of acquisitions for Teva Pharmaceuticals. In addition, Mr. Rosen has been involved in over 100 IPOs and equity transactions, including the IPOs of Ormat Geothermal, [Verint](/org/verint), [Mobileye](/org/mobileye), [CyberArk](/org/cyberark), ADO Properties, [ReWalk](/org/rewalk), Foamix, Kornit and [Caesarstone](/org/caesarstone-int). Len Rosen

Matthew Lindsey-Clark, based in London, is a Senior Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of its European advisory business.

Mr. Lindsey-Clark has over 30 years of investment banking experience and has specialised in advising financial services companies for most of his career. He has advised on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions across a number of sectors within the wider financial services market, including banking, finance companies, property and casualty insurance and reinsurance, insurance broking, and asset management. Notable transactions over recent years include advising Novae on its agreed offer by [AXIS Capital](/org/axis-capital); Pantheon International on its share capital restructuring; Amlin on the agreed offer by Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Company; AIG in relation to the sale of Ascot Underwriting to CPPIB; Bridgepoint Private Equity on the sale of Quilter Cheviot to [Old Mutual](/org/old-mutual); and [Nomura](/org/nomura) in relation to the acquisition of Lehman’s European operations out of administration.

Mr. Lindsey-Clark joined [Evercore](/org/evercore) on the completion of the acquisition of [Lexicon](/org/lexicon) Partners in August 2011. Prior to joining [Lexicon](/org/lexicon) in May 2001, he was a Managing Director in Credit Suisse First Boston’s European Financial Institutions Group. From 1997 until its acquisition by CSFB in November 2000, he was with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in London, before which he was at NatWest Markets.

Mr. Lindsey-Clark has a first class degree in Classics from Oxford University. He is Treasurer and Trustee of the Royal Horticultural Society and Trustee and Chairman of the Development Board of Classics for All.

Ed Hyman is Chairman of [Evercore](/org/evercore) ISI and Vice Chairman of [Evercore](/org/evercore). He heads [Evercore](/org/evercore) ISI’s Economic Research Team. For the past 45 years, Ed has been ranked by the Institutional Investor poll of investors for Economics, and ranked #1 for 40 years.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore) ISI, Ed was the Chairman and Founder of ISI Group, LLC. (broker dealer) and ISI Inc. (funds management). ISI Group had 280 employees around the world with headquarters in New York and offices located in Boston, Fairhope, Houston, London, Los Angeles, St. Louis, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Washington DC. ISI’s broker dealer
clients are institutional investors in the U.S. and abroad.

Prior to forming both of these companies in 1991, Ed was Vice Chairman and a member of the Board of C.J. Lawrence Inc., which he joined in 1972. He was an economic consultant at Data Resources, Inc. from 1969 to 1971. He has previously served as a board member of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Capital Trust (NYSE: CT), Said Holdings Limited, 10 Gracie Square, Saint David’s School, Collegiate School’s Finance Committee, and The [Economic Club of New York](/org/economic-club-of-new-york).

Ed is a board member of China Institute and is a member of the Advisory Committee for The New York Public Library’s Financial Services Leadership Forum. He earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Texas in 1967 and received his MBA from MIT in 1969.

Ed Hyman

Joe Chambers, based in London, is Chief Operating Officer of [Evercore](/org/evercore)’s European Advisory business and a Senior Managing Director in its European financial institutions group.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Mr. Chambers was a Partner and Managing Director at Lexicon Partners, the corporate finance advisory business which was acquired by [Evercore](/org/evercore) in 2011. He spent his early career at DLJ International, NatWest Markets and Ernst & Young.

Mr. Chambers has over 20 years of experience in advising financial institutions on M&A and corporate finance. Some of his transactions include advising on the sale by [Schroders](/org/schroders) of its shareholding in RWC; the acquisition of OMGI by [TA Associates](/org/ta-associates); the sale by [TA Associates](/org/ta-associates) of Merian to Jupiter; the sale by [Evercore](/org/evercore) of ETC to Newport; the sale by Phoenix of Ignis to [Standard Life](/org/standard-life-plc); the MBO and subsequent IPO of Jupiter; the sale by HVB of F&C to Eureko; and the sale by Eureko of F&C to ISIS. Joe Chambers

John is the Chief Investment Officer of [Evercore Wealth Management](/org/evercore-wealth-management), responsible for the firm’s market outlook and asset allocation policy. He has over 30 years of experience managing balanced investment portfolios for high-net-worth clients and foundations and endowments.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore) in 2008, John was a managing director of U.S. Trust, which he joined in 1984. He was responsible for managing $2 billion of client assets, representing many of U.S. Trust’s most significant clients. Additionally, John served as the Chief Investment Officer of U.S. Trust of New York from 2003 to 2005, and as the head of Equity Investments and the Chair of the Equity Investment Committee from 2005 to 2008. For 15 years, he was an active participant in the formulation of overall investment strategy and a member of the U.S. Trust Investment Strategy Committee.

Prior to attending business school, John was on the staff of the U.S. Senate Labor and Human Resources Committee and worked on federal budget matters.

John received his B.A. from [Bucknell University](/org/lombahdo) in 1980 and an M.B.A. from New York University in 1984. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a former member of the Board of the New York Society of Security Analysts.

John Apruzzese

Andrew Sibbald is Chairman and Senior Managing Director of [Evercore](/org/evercore)’s European Investment Banking business, based in London.

Mr. Sibbald was previously the co-founder and Senior Partner of Lexicon Partners which was acquired by [Evercore](/org/evercore) in 2011. Prior to founding Lexicon Partners in 2000, Mr. Sibbald was a Managing Director at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, where he led a team specialising in mergers & acquisitions in the financial institutions sector. He was previously a partner in The Phoenix Partnership, a corporate advisory and private equity business which was acquired by DLJ in 1997 and prior to that spent his early career at Chemical Bank and Manufacturers Hanover Trust.

Mr. Sibbald has over 30 years of experience in advising financial institutions on M&A and corporate finance. Andrew Sibbald

Tim LaLonde is a Senior Managing Director and the Chief Operating Officer of the firm’s investment banking business.

Mr. LaLonde has thirty-two years of advisory experience and, prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), was an Executive Director at UBS Warburg (and was at Dillon Read, a predecessor firm), where much of his work focused on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to business school, Mr. LaLonde worked as a Vice President at a merger and acquisition advisory boutique firm.

Since joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Mr. LaLonde has advised on [General Motors](/org/general-motors)’ sale of a 51% interest in GMAC, [AT&T](/org/att)’s acquisition of [BellSouth](/org/bellsouth-llc), NTL’s acquisition of Telewest, SBC’s acquisition of [AT&T](/org/att), EDS’ sale of UGS PLM, the sale of PanAmSat to an investor group and [Cingular](/org/cingular)’s acquisition of [AT&T](/org/att) Wireless. In addition, Mr. LaLonde has been involved in numerous transactions in the energy, building and construction, and general industrial sectors.

Lisa Crotty is a managing director and the chief of staff to the co-heads of U.S. Advisory at [Evercore](/org/evercore).

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Ms. Crotty was at [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse) for more than 15 years, where she served as COO for equity capital markets, debt capital markets and healthcare investment banking. She began her career in equity capital markets and was based in both New York and Hong Kong.

Krishna Guha is Vice-Chairman of Evercore ISI and heads the Global Policy and Central Bank Strategy team based in Washington DC. Evercore ISI’s Policy team is ranked #1 and Krishna is ranked #1 in individual on the Institutional Investor’s All‐Star Team for Washington research which is based on a survey of global asset managers.

Prior to joining the firm, Krishna was Executive Vice-President, Member of the Management Committee and Head of the Communications Group at the New York Fed from 2010 to 2013. In this capacity he led the New York Fed’s external relations, acted as a senior advisor to President William C Dudley on monetary policy strategy and policy communication, and served as a member of the New York Fed’s Executive Committee on Financial Stability and Regulatory Policy. Krishna also chaired the New York Fed’s policy speech-writing process, co-chaired its housing policy working group and managed a department of about 60 officials. As a Member of the Management Committee, he shared responsibility for charting the overall strategy of the New York Fed, developing its capabilities and evaluating and managing risks faced by the institution.

Before joining the New York Fed, Krishna was a senior writer on global economics and economic policy at the [Financial Times](/org/financial-times), where he held a series of senior positions including US Economics Editor, Lex columnist and Editorial Leader Writer (member of the Editorial Board). He was awarded the Best in Business award by the Society of American Business Editors and Writers and the Excellence in Financial Journalism award by the [New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants](/org/new-york-state-society-of-certified-public-accountants) for his work on the financial crisis.

Krishna is a Member of the [Economic Club of New York](/org/economic-club-of-new-york), NABE, the National Association for Business Economics and has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Fulbright Association, a member of the [World Economic Forum](/org/world-economic-forum)’s Global Advisory Council, a member of the EU-Japan Forum and a fellow at Japan’s Keizai Koho Center and Nihon Shinbun Kyokai. He has lived and worked in the US, Europe and Asia and in 1993 took part in a joint Anglo-Chinese expedition to cross the Taklamakan Desert in Xinjiang Province, China.

Krishna was educated at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge University, and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard, where he was a Fulbright Scholar and won the C.V. Starr award.

Terri Fortuna is the Chief Operating Officer of Evercore ISI.

Ms. Fortuna began her financial services career as Vice President and US Head of Publishing in the Equity Research department of [Morgan Stanley](/org/morgan-stanley). She rose to the position of Executive Director and Global Operations Officer of Research, where she was responsible for administrative personnel, facilities, support infrastructure, financial management and risk management. She joined Lehman Brothers in 2007 as Senior Vice President and transitioned to Barclays Capital in 2008 as Director and US Head of Sourcing, where she was responsible for vendor negotiations and supplier risk management.

Prior to entering financial services, Ms. Fortuna was Chief Operating Officer of the boutique law firm, Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, PC.

Ms. Fortuna earned a M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School and a B.S. in Finance from the Pennsylvania State University.

Terri Fortuna

Larry Sibley is Head of Sales at Evercore ISI and is responsible for directing the firm’s research sales effort. He is also a member of Evercore ISI’s Management Committee and Investment Policy Committee.

Prior to joining Evercore ISI in 2019, Mr. Sibley was Head of New York Advisory Sales at [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse), where he worked for 18 years. Before [Credit Suisse](/org/credit-suisse), he was in Equity Sales at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, JP Morgan and Sanford Bernstein. Mr. Sibley has also been a portfolio manager at [Goldman Sachs](/org/goldman-sachs) and started his financial services career as an investment banker for Bankers Trust.

Mr. Sibley received his B.A. in Economics from [Tulane University](/org/tulane-university) and his M.B.A. in Finance from the New York University Stern School of Business.

Liz Lynch is a Senior Managing Director and the firm’s Global Head of the Human Capital Group.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore) in 2010, Liz had her own consulting business providing advice on HR, organizational, and strategic issues to several financial services firms. Prior to this period, Liz spent 22 years at [Morgan Stanley](/org/morgan-stanley) where she was Global Chief Operating Officer for the Equity Research business from 2000-2006, Global Head of Human Resources from 1995 to 2000 and an Investment Banker from 1984 to 1995.

Liz has a BA from [Wesleyan University](/org/wesleyan-university) and an MBA from The Darden School at the University of Virginia where she currently serves on the Foundation Board of Trustees.

Rob Manning is Head of Trading. Rob offers over 20 years of trading and REIT specialization to the team. Prior to joining Evercore ISI, Rob spent 4 years with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods specializing in REITs and was the Head U.S. Equities Trader. Prior to joining KBW, he worked at Merrill Lynch as the REIT trader. Rob started his financial services career with Bear Stearns.

Eduardo Mestre is a Senior Managing Director and Chairman of Global Advisory at [Evercore](/org/evercore) and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee.

Since joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Mr. Mestre has been involved in many of the firm’s most important transactions in various industry sectors, including media, consumer, industrials, chemicals and financial institutions. Among others, Eduardo has represented [Comcast](/org/comcast) in its acquisition of Sky; [Pinnacle Foods](/org/pinnacle-foods) in its sale to Conagra; Whole Foods in its sale to Amazon; [DuPont](/org/dupont) in its merger with Dow Chemical, its spin-offs of [Chemours](/org/the-chemours), Dow, Corteva and Nutrition and Biosciences and its proxy fight with [Trian Fund Management](/org/trian-fund-management); Estee Lauder in its acquisition of Too Faced; [United Airlines](/org/united-airlines) in its defense against activist investors; EMC in its sale to Dell; [MGM Resorts International](/org/mgm-resorts-international) in its threatened proxy contest with L&B, the IPO of its REIT subsidiary and its financial restructuring; and Ally Financial in its restructuring of its mortgage business and the sale of its international operations to [Royal Bank of Canada](/org/royal-bank-of-canada) and [GM Financial](/org/general-motors-financial-company-inc). Mr. Mestre was responsible for the day to day management of the firm’s U.S. advisory practice from 2004-2012.

Mr. Mestre serves as a member of the boards of the [International Rescue Committee](/org/international-rescue-committee), where he is Chair of the Board of Advisors, and the Cuba Study Group, a Cuban issues advocacy group that favors engagement and support of civil society. He is past Chairman of the Board of [Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory](/org/cold-spring-harbor-laboratory), one of the nation’s leading cancer, genetics and neuroscience research and educational institutions, and past Chairman of WNYC, New York’s public radio stations. He is also a past trustee of The Taft School.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore) in October 2004, Mr. Mestre was Vice Chairman of [Citigroup](/org/citigroup) Global Markets, Inc. and Chairman of its Investment Banking Division. Mr. Mestre was head of investment banking at [Citigroup](/org/citigroup) and its predecessor firms from 1995-2001 and co-head of Salomon Brothers’ mergers and acquisitions department from 1989-1995. Prior to joining Salomon Brothers in 1977, Mr. Mestre was an associate with the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton.

Mr. Mestre graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from [Yale University](/org/yale-university) in 1970 with a B.A. degree in Economics and Political Science and is a 1973 cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. Mr. Mestre was born in Havana, Cuba in 1949.

Keith Magnus is co-Chairman, Asia, and Senior Managing Director at [Evercore](/org/evercore). He was appointed to establish [Evercore](/org/evercore)’s office in Singapore in 2013 as its Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Magnus quickly built [Evercore](/org/evercore)’s presence in the region, securing the prestigious title of Best M&A Adviser in Singapore for three consecutive years (2015, 2016 and 2017) at the Asset Triple Awards, an achievement unparalleled by any other investment bank. To date at [Evercore](/org/evercore) he has personally originated and advised on over S$35 billion worth of transactions with a double digit number of them over S$ 1 billion each in deal value. Anchored by this and other activity in Asia, [Evercore](/org/evercore) also secured the title of Best Independent Advisory Firm in Asia in 2016. He was referred to as a “star investment banker” by the Business Times in Singapore in 2017.

Prior to joining [Evercore](/org/evercore), Mr. Magnus was for over a decade leading investment banking practices at bulge bracket firms that won numerous country awards for best Foreign Investment Bank in Singapore and numerous landmark deal awards. He is the youngest Singaporean in recent years to have headed an investment banking business for a major bulge bracket firm in a major financial centre, when he was appointed Country Head of Investment Banking at [Deutsche Bank](/org/deutsche-bank) at age 30. Mr. Magnus was prior to [Evercore](/org/evercore) the Chairman and Head of UBS’ Investment Bank in Singapore and Malaysia whose responsibility included overseeing the investment bank’s activities in the region. Prior to UBS, he was Managing Director and Head of Singapore and Malaysia Investment Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he was recognized by [Reuters](/org/reuters) as one of Merrill Lynch’s “top-performing bankers”. Mr. Magnus started his banking career at [JPMorgan Chase](/org/jpmorgan-chase).

Mr. Magnus has garnered a track record of originating and executing numerous landmark deals in Asia and has won over 20 deal awards by leading industry publications. Mr. Magnus has extensive M&A advisory and equity and debt capital markets experience having advised on over 110 transactions and close to S$100 billion worth of deals many of which have won industry awards for thought leadership and execution. He has advised some of the region’s most blue chip companies, financial institutions, sovereign wealth funds and billionaires in the region on their most important transactions.

Mr. Magnus for 11 years served as a Finance Committee Chairman/ Member of Sentosa Development Corporation (under the Ministry of Trade and Industry), and for seven years as a board member Sentosa Development Corporation (a committee member since 2007). Active in the community, he serves as board member of the NTU MBA Advisory Council, Centre for Fathering (“Dads for Life”) under the Ministry of Social and Family Development, Chairman of the Anglo-Chinese School PSG, Chairman of Alpha Singapore, is member of the NUS International Medicine Council, and serves on the Football Association of Singapore’s Governance Task Force. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organisation. Mr. Magnus has double degrees in Economics (Finance and Accountancy) and Laws from Monash University in Melbourne, where he was a prize winner.

Keith Magnus

Ralph Schlosstein is Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Chief Executive Officer, positions he has held since July 2020. Previously, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of Evercore.

Prior to joining Evercore in May 2009, Mr. Schlosstein was the Chief Executive Officer of HighView Investment Group, an alternative investment management firm. Prior to forming HighView in 2008, Mr. Schlosstein was for almost twenty years the President of BlackRock, the largest asset management firm in the world, with approximately $6 trillion of assets under management. Mr. Schlosstein co-founded BlackRock in 1988, was a director since the company went public in 1999, chaired BlackRock’s Management Committee, and served on its Executive Committee and its Investment Committee.

Prior to founding BlackRock in 1988, Mr. Schlosstein was a Managing Director in Investment Banking at Lehman Brothers. While at Lehman, Mr. Schlosstein started the firm’s interest rate swap business and led its Mortgage and Savings Institutions Group. From 1977 to 1981, Mr. Schlosstein worked for the Federal government. Initially, he was Deputy to the Assistant Secretary of the Treasury Department. In mid 1977, he became Associate Director of The White House Domestic Policy Staff where he was responsible for advising President Carter on urban policy, economic development and housing issues, as well as the Chrysler loan guarantee program. From 1974 to 1977, Mr. Schlosstein was an economist for the Congressional Joint Economic Committee.

Mr. Schlosstein is a Trustee of New Visions for Public Education, a Trustee of the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and a member of The Council on Foreign Relations. Previously, Mr. Schlosstein was a Director of Pulte Corporation, the nation’s largest homebuilder, a member of the Visiting Board of Overseers of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, a Trustee of Denison University, a Trustee of Trinity School in New York City, a Trustee of the American Museum of Natural History and a Trustee of The Public Theater in New York City.

He earned a BA degree in economics, cum laude, from Denison University in 1972, and completed his coursework for a Masters of Public Policy from the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Pittsburgh.

Ralph Schlosstein

John S. Weinberg is Co-Chairman of the Board of Directors and Co-Chief Executive Officer, positions he has held since July 2020. Previously he was Chairman of the Board and Executive Chairman of Evercore.

Prior to joining Evercore in November 2016, Mr. Weinberg was Vice Chairman of Goldman Sachs from 2006 to 2015 and Co-Head of Global Investment Banking from 2002 until 2015. Mr. Weinberg joined Goldman Sachs in 1983 as an Associate and was promoted to Partner in 1992.

Mr. Weinberg is a board member of Ford Motor Company, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Middlebury College.

Mr. Weinberg received a B.A. from Princeton University in 1979 and in 1983 earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
