Choon Yee Tan

Choon Yee Tan has extensive work experience in the research and development field, particularly in the skincare and cosmetic industry. Starting in 2006, Choon Yee worked as a laboratory assistant at Mayteck Life Industries Sdn Bhd, where they monitored quality control and supervised production. They then moved on to Western Michigan University, where they worked as a research associate for a brief period. In 2011, Choon Yee became a summer camp counselor at Long Island University, where they assisted in organizing activities and ensuring the safety of campers and staff. Choon Yee then joined Englewood Lab in 2012 as an R&D intern and later as a chemist, performing various tasks such as formulating new products and conducting experiments. They eventually held the position of Senior Scientist and R&D Skincare Team Manager before leaving in 2021. Currently, Choon Yee works at Evereden as the Director of Research Development.

Choon Yee Tan pursued their education in the field of chemistry and cosmetic science. From 2007 to 2010, they attended Western Michigan University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry with ACS Certification. Later, in 2011-2012, they attended LIU Brooklyn, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutics with a specialization in Cosmetic Science.
