Darwin Lucas is an accomplished insurance industry professional with extensive experience in casualty management and a strong leadership background. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of U.S. Casualty Facultative Programs at Everest Reinsurance Company since July 2017, Darwin also holds the position of Senior Vice President at Maxum Specialty Insurance Group since April 2015. Previous roles include President & CEO at Regional Excess Underwriters, President at Insential, Inc., and Senior Vice President at RISC, Inc. with a focus on program division responsibilities. Darwin's earlier career includes managing $400M in E&S programs as Programs Manager at CNA Insurance, and overseeing large casualty risk management accounts as Regional Sales Manager at Firemans Fund Insurance Company. Starting as a Senior Account Executive at AIG, Darwin has consistently demonstrated leadership and expertise in the casualty risk management sector. Darwin holds a degree from DePaul University.
