Samantha Chua

Samantha Chua is a seasoned financial lines underwriter currently employed at Everest Insurance Singapore since April 2020, specializing in Directors and Officers (D&O), Professional Indemnity (PI), Financial Institutions (FI), Crime, and Cyber insurance across Asia. Prior to this role, Samantha served as an Associate Underwriter at Everest Reinsurance Company, focusing on retrocessions and regional treaties in the APAC region. Her career began at J B Boda & Co (S) Pte Ltd as a Reinsurance Broker, where emphasis was placed on facultative placements in territories such as Brunei, the Philippines, Pakistan, and Mauritius. Earlier experience includes a six-month apprenticeship as a Claims Assistant at Asia Capital Re, supporting claims managers in the Property and Casualty Facultative team. Samantha Chua holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from the University of London.
