Pinchas P. Rosenberg

Dr. Pinchas Rosenberg specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of retinal diseases. Particular areas of interest include Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Retinal vein occlusions, and Retinal Detachment. He co-authored the chapter on diabetic retinopathy in the authoritative "Netter's Textbook of Internal Medicine, 2nd edition".

Dr. Rosenberg joined Everett & Hurite Ophthalmic Association in 2007. After receiving his medical degree in 2001 from Northwestern University in Chicago, he completed an internship at the Alton Oshsner Clinic Foundation in New Orleans. This was followed by a residency in ophthalmology at Louisiana State University/Ochsner and a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at the University of North Carolina in 2007.

Dr. Rosenberg was a concert violinist and performed extensively prior to beginning medical school in 1997. He credits his musical training for the exacting standards and rigor he applies to his medical and surgical practice. He also prides himself on caring for patients with empathy and taking the time necessary for each patient.

Dr. Rosenberg utilizes small gauge incision vitrectomy surgery, and brings extensive experience in complex retinal detachment repair. He sees patients in multiple offices providing a wide range of retinal services including complete evaluations of diabetic retinopathy, retinovascular and macular diseases. Fluorescein angiography and high resolution OCT is available as an office procedure. Laser and surgical treatment of a variety of retinal conditions is also offered by Dr. Rosenberg.
