Hayley McKane

Vice President, K-12 at EVERFI

Hayley McKane has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the education field. Hayley started their career as an Educator in the ALUM ROCK UNION ELEM SCHOOL DISTRICT from 2008 to 2011. Hayley then joined TNTP as a Seminar Leader from 2010 to 2011. McKane further expanded their expertise by working as an Educator in the San Francisco Unified School District from 2011 to 2013. Hayley then joined Edmodo as a Learning Programs and Success Manager from 2013 to 2014.

From 2014 onwards, McKane transitioned to roles with a focus on educational technology. Hayley worked as a Senior Schools Manager at EVERFI from 2014 to 2017, where they contributed to building partnerships with schools and private sector companies to implement EVERFI's online programs. Hayley then became a Regional Director at EVERFI from 2017 to 2019, leading a team to support implementers in the field.

Currently, McKane holds the position of Vice President, K-12 at EVERFI starting from July 2019. In this role, they lead a team of Regional Directors and oversees the development of partnerships between educators, financial institutions, corporations, and professional sports leagues to bring online programs to schools across the United States and Canada. Their focus is on building deep relationships with these stakeholders to meet shared goals in education.

Hayley McKane attended Syracuse University from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Radio and Television, with a focus on Public Affairs. Following this, they pursued further education at Alliant International University-San Francisco Bay from 2008 to 2010, obtaining a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Special Education and Teaching. In addition to their degrees, Hayley McKane has obtained certifications in "Psychological Safety: Clear Blocks to Innovation, Collaboration, and Risk-Taking" and "Building Resilience as a Leader" from LinkedIn in December 2022 and August 2022, respectively.
