Jessica Cooper has extensive experience in instructional design and learning program management. Jessica has a background in developing and implementing training programs for various organizations.
Jessica began their career at GADCO Cooperatief U.A. in 2012, where they worked as a Student Documentary Co-director. Jessica then moved on to the Missionary Training Center in 2011, where they served as a Classroom Instructor, responsible for training young people in various skills.
In 2012, Jessica joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and took on multiple roles, including Associate Producer, Instructional Designer, and Self-reliance Services Implementation Specialist. In these roles, they managed translation and subtitle production of videos, led video publishing efforts, and assisted in the implementation of self-reliance programs.
Moving forward, Jessica worked at Deseret Digital Media as an Instructional Designer, designing online courses and managing training strategies. Jessica then joined Innovator's DNA in 2016 as an Instructional Designer, where they edited course materials and reduced learner seat time through video scripting.
From 2017 to 2019, Jessica worked at The VOID, first as an Instructional Designer and then as the Head Of Learning. Jessica designed and built a company-wide training program and created scalable learning programs for employees across multiple locations.
In 2020, Jessica joined Los Alamos National Laboratory as a Learning Product Manager. Jessica played a crucial role in revitalizing the instructor feedback program and collaborated with cross-functional teams to develop a work-from-home program for employees.
Most recently, in 2021, Jessica became a Product Manager at EVERFI, where they are currently serving as the Senior Product Manager.
Jessica Cooper earned a Master's Degree in Instructional Psychology and Technology from Brigham Young University, completing their studies from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they studied Media Art Studies from 2008 to 2012 at the same university. In 2007 to 2008, Jessica attended Utah State University, where they completed an Associate of Science degree, though the field of study is unspecified. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner from Prosci in January 2021, Elearning Essentials: Storyboarding from LinkedIn in April 2020, and a Product Manager Certification, though the institution and date of completion are unknown.
