Lauren Harris Pingul has a diverse range of work experience spanning various roles and industries. Lauren currently holds the position of Vice President, K-12 Marketing at EVERFI, where they have developed the vision and strategy for the K12 Marketing Team, leading and managing a team of direct reports. Prior to this role, Lauren served as Senior Director, K-12 Marketing at EVERFI. Before joining EVERFI, they worked as a Product Marketing Specialist, launching new products and managing the planning and execution of a virtual educator conference. Lauren has also worked as a Senior Schools Manager, where they created and executed outreach campaigns, trained and supported teachers and administrators, and managed relationships with sponsors and community partners. Earlier in their career, Lauren served as an Assistant Principal at ReNEW Schools Charter Management Organization, where they managed and coached math and science teachers and led professional development sessions. Lauren also worked as a Senior Seminar Teacher and 12th Grade Team Leader at New Orleans College Prep, where they created a vision for the grade and planned and oversaw various initiatives. Lauren has teaching experience as well, having taught writing and math to middle and high school students at New Orleans College Prep and worked as an English Language Development Instructional Assistant at Wright Charter School. Prior to their teaching roles, they were an ESL Teacher at Swaton Language School for Kids, where they taught English to kindergarteners and conducted after-school classes. Lauren began their career as a Corpsmember at Teach For America.
Lauren Harris Pingul received a Bachelor's degree in International/Global Studies from UC Santa Barbara in 2009. In 2021-2022, they pursued a Marketing Strategy Certificate from Cornell University. Lauren has also obtained additional certifications, including "Uncovering Unconscious Bias in Recruiting and Interviewing" from LinkedIn in May 2023 and "Highly Qualified Certified Teacher -- Secondary Math" from The New Teacher Project in November 2012.
