Marianne Epstein has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design. Currently, they serve as the Director of User Experience Design at EVERFI, where they lead the platform UX team. Marianne'sresponsibilities include improving the user-friendly experience of the platform for teachers, HR training managers, and CSR leads. Marianne focuses on rebuilding the design system, establishing and expanding user research practices, and managing a team of senior designers.
Prior to their current role, Marianne worked at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, starting as a Design Intern and progressing to various roles such as Associate Designer, UI Designer, Senior UX Designer, and ultimately Principal UX Architect. In these positions, they contributed to significant projects, including leading the design systems for the enterprise mobile website redesign, the USA TODAY's Windows 10 universal app, and the Android TV app. Marianne also played a crucial role in the 2019-2020 USA TODAY Network website redesign, ensuring the creation of flexible design systems to fulfill various stakeholders' needs.
Before entering the field of user experience design, Marianne worked as a Teacher at VanDamme Academy from 2010 to 2012.
Marianne Epstein completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Dartmouth College between 2004 and 2009. Marianne then pursued further education, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Graphic Design from George Mason University from 2012 to 2015.
