Julie Van Puffelen, BSN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Julie currently works as a Principal Consultant at Evergreen Healthcare Partners and as a Clinical Project Manager at Rush University Medical Center, both since 2018. Before that, Julie worked at Epic for a significant period from 2003 to 2016. During their time at Epic, they held various roles including Project Manager and Executive Nurse Liaison, where they improved clinical workflows, built rapport with nurse executives, and developed standardized processes for project management and change management. Prior to their time at Epic, Julie worked as a Staff Nurse at UnityPoint Health - Meriter and SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Madison.

Julie began their higher education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Piano Performance. Following this, they attended Edgewood College and successfully obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in 2000. Currently, they are a candidate for a Master's Certificate in Project Management at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with an expected completion date in 2018.

Julie holds certifications from Epic, including EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation Certification (2003), Epic ASAP (Emergency Department) Certification (2005), Epic Clinical Case Management Badge (2015), Epic Willow (Pharmacy) Certification (2004), and EpicCare Inpatient Orders Certification (2003).
