Liz Tyrrell is the current CalWorks Program Director at Evergreen Valley College. Liz has also worked as a consultant for various organizations, including Working in Support of Education, the International Rescue Committee, Trickle Up, and ACDI/VOCA and UNCDF/MicroStart.
Liz has extensive experience in designing and implementing financial education programs. In their role at Working in Support of Education, they managed a financial education program for high school students that reached over 6,000 students across 30 schools in New York. At the International Rescue Committee, they designed a financial literacy curriculum for refugee women coming to the United States. And through their work with Trickle Up and ACDI/VOCA, they have helped countless people in developing countries gain access to microfinance opportunities.
Liz is passionate about helping others improve their financial well-being and reach their full potential. Liz is an expert in their field, and their work has positively impacted the lives of many people around the world.
Liz Tyrrell has a Master's degree in International Educational Development from Columbia University. Liz also has a Bachelor's of Arts in Cultural Anthropology and French from the University of Michigan. Liz Tyrrell is certified from the Social Media Boot Camp in Advanced Social Media Strategy Training and Certification and from NAFSA: Association of International Educators in NAFSA Academy - International Education Class 11 Graduate.
They work with Eugenio P. Canoy - Campus Technology Support Services Supervisor, Kathy Tran - Business Services Director. Liz Tyrrell reports to Andrea Alexander, VP of Administrative Services.
